These examples show the amount of taxes payable on salary or on pension income in Sweden.

Below you can see what the tax is on certain levels of salary or pension income for a person living in Sweden. The calculation applies to a person who:

  • lives in Sweden for the whole year
  • is over 18 years of age, single, with no children (no effect in Sweden)
  • does not pay church tax
  • receives only salary and/or pension income from Sweden

For the calculation the average municipality tax 32,27 percent plus 0,253 percent for compulsory funeral fee have been used.
